TRI-FIT Warranty Policy
At TRI-FIT, we are committed to delivering high-quality performance apparel and accessories. Our products are crafted to offer the best in comfort, durability, and style. We stand by the quality of our gear, but as with all high-performance products, proper care is essential to maintain their longevity and performance.
Warranty Coverage:
We offer a 1-year limited warranty on all TRI-FIT apparel, effective from the date of purchase. For TRI-FIT swimming goggles, we provide a 90-day limited warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers:
- Manufacturing Defects: Issues with stitching, zippers, seams, or other manufacturing faults that affect the performance or functionality of the product.
- Material Defects: Defects in the fabric or other materials that are not caused by external factors or improper care.
- Goggle Defects: Problems with lens clarity, strap issues, or other defects unrelated to misuse or improper handling.
If a manufacturing or material defect is found, we will offer a replacement or exchange for the same or comparable product.
What is Not Covered:
Our warranty does not cover:
- General Wear and Tear: Over time, even the highest quality garments can experience wear. Issues like fabric pilling, color fading, stretching, logo peeling, and other signs of regular use are not covered.
- Damage from External Factors: Damage caused by friction from, but not limited to, race belts, saddles, Velcro, or contact with rough surfaces, as well as cuts or tears from sharp objects or improper storage (e.g., placing items with rough surfaces in the same bag as your tri-suit).
- Misuse or Improper Care: Damage resulting from washing, drying, or using the product in ways other than as intended, including exposure to harsh chemicals, improper storage, or not following care instructions.
- Alterations or Third-Party Repairs: Products that have been altered, modified, or repaired by anyone other than TRI-FIT are not covered under warranty. This includes the printing of sponsor logos.
- Swimming Goggles Fit and Usage: Customers must ensure that TRI-FIT swimming goggles fit correctly before use. Due to hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for goggles after they have been used unless there is a verified manufacturer’s defect.
TRI-FIT reserves the right to determine if the issue falls under warranty coverage. If the product is found to be non-defective, customers are responsible for any return shipping.
Crash Replacement Service:
We understand that accidents happen. TRI-FIT offers a Crash Replacement Service for customers whose gear has been damaged in a crash. If you have experienced a crash, please contact us within 14 days with photos of the damaged product and information on when and where the damage occurred. Upon verification, we will provide a 50% discount on an identical replacement item. More information on this service can be found on our Crash Replacement Page.
How to Make a Warranty Claim:
- Contact Our Customer Service Team: Reach out via order@tri-fitathletic.com with your order information, a detailed description of the issue, and photos showing the defect.
- Assessment: Our team will review your claim and, if necessary, request the item be sent back for further inspection.
- Resolution: If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, we will provide a replacement or exchange at no cost. If this is not possible due to stock levels, we will issue store credit to the original purchase value.

Proper care is essential for maintaining the performance and longevity of your TRI-FIT gear. High-performance apparel and accessories require specific care to ensure they perform their best throughout their lifespan.
General Care Tips for TRI-FIT Apparel:
- Wash After Use: To prevent odour and damage, wash your gear soon after use, especially after heavy workouts or exposure to chlorine or saltwater.
- Use Cold Water and Gentle Cycle: Hand wash where possible, or machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle. Avoid using bleach, fabric softeners, or harsh detergents, which can damage the fabric’s performance features.
- Turn Inside Out: Wash garments inside out to minimize friction and protect colours and prints.
- Avoid Mixing with Rough Items: When storing or washing, do not mix TRI-FIT apparel with items that could cause damage, such as those with zippers, Velcro, or sharp edges.
- Air Dry Only: Do not tumble dry. Lay flat or hang to air dry in a cool, shaded area to prevent fabric breakdown and maintain shape.

Care Tips for TRI-FIT Swimming Goggles:
- Rinse After Every Use: After swimming, rinse goggles with fresh water to remove chlorine, salt, and other contaminants.
- Avoid Touching the Lenses: Touching the inside of the lenses can damage the anti-fog coating. Instead, rinse gently and allow to air dry.
- Store in Protective Case: When not in use, keep your goggles in a protective case to prevent scratches and maintain their shape.
Anti-Fog Tips for Swimming Goggles:
- Preserve the Anti-Fog Coating: The lenses of TRI-FIT goggles come with an anti-fog coating. To maintain its effectiveness, avoid rubbing or touching the inside of the lenses. Gently rinse and allow to air dry.
- Rinse Before Use: Rinsing your goggles in fresh water before wearing them can help activate the anti-fog properties.
- Avoid Hot Water and Harsh Chemicals: Never use hot water, soap, or chemicals on the lenses, as they can degrade the anti-fog coating.
- Use Anti-Fog Sprays When Needed: If the anti-fog starts to fade, use a recommended anti-fog spray to rejuvenate the lenses.
